The channel partners show has come and gone but wow! It left a mark.
On April 9-12, 2019 Channel Partners from all over the world showed up in Vegas. Bigtime! More than 6,000 industry experts, including master agents, VARs, MSPs, SaaS providers and service providers converged on the Mandalay Bay Hotel for 4 days of networking, training and the ability to choose from an amazing array of parties that left all the attendees physically exhausted but inspired to take advantage of the unprecedented opportunity ahead of them this year.
Industry vets turned pundits, Mike Cromwell and Dave Gilbert, brought Chris Cline, their video guy to the show floor to capture the moment for the UC Buyer. Together they gleaned some of the latest developments in communications technology and yes, a little gossip.
They took hours of video with very entertaining guests that were more than happy to share their opinions and observations about what is happening now with the communications industry.
Here’s some of the quotes they recorded while at the show.
“If you don’t meet the expectations of Generation CX, you may end up in the graveyard of companies that didn’t get it.”
“With service providers paying up to 10x spiffs, there’s going to be a million dollar spiff paid to a channel partner in 2019!”
“Private equity has determined that it can make money rolling up IT services companies. Thanks to the strong tech market, robust overall economy and availability of capital, there’s an urgency to invest”
“The 2019 Cloud Girls Rising Awards honor stand-out women in technology who are taking the lead in driving cloud solutions at their companies, in the channel community and within the tech industry.”
“5G is “the new electricity.”
